What is all of this?
We are part of a quickly growing community of "home" simulator builders. Enthusiasts in this hobby spend countless hours , and money, in an attempt to build large scale flight simulators in their own homes and garages. Some setups are as small as switch boxes, while some are 100% scale airline simulators with functional avionics and switches. Many setups are quite impressive undertakings and require years of extensive research and dedication!
This web site was started to try and keep track of the "demographics" of this hobby. Where is everybody from, what airplanes are they building, and when did they start? These are a few questions that we are trying to answer on a very large scale. With people from every corner of the globe participating in this hobby, it is difficult to keep track of everybody. Hopefully, this web site will allow us to understand just how quickly our community is growing.
